Who I Am and Why I’m Running
My name is Nick Walden Poublon and I’m running for Secretary of the Democratic Party of Oregon because I believe in a party that is transparent, inclusive, and built to win. As a former Vice Chair of the Democratic Party of Clackamas County, a legislative aide for District 52 and Democratic nominee for the state legislature in 2024, I’ve seen firsthand the power of strong grassroots organizing and the need for clear, accountable leadership.
We need a party that works for all Democrats—urban and rural, young and old, longtime activists and new voices. I’m ready to bring my experience, dedication, and passion for local governance to ensure our party is organized, effective, and ready to fight for the future of Oregon. Let’s build a stronger, more unified Democratic Party together.
